The entire nation pays tribute to
the brave revolutionary of India and the true son of Mother India,
Chandrashekhar 'Azad' ji, on his birth anniversary. His life is a unique
example of courage, determination and patriotism. On 23 July, while remembering
Azad ji, we not only salute his sacrifice, but also take a pledge that we will
contribute to the creation of the India of his dreams.Chandrashekhar Azad is the name itself: Chandrashekhar Azad was born on 23 July 1906
in Bhabra village of Madhya Pradesh. Since childhood, he had anger against
British slavery in his mind. He was arrested at the age of just 15 for
participating in Gandhiji's non-cooperation movement. When asked for his name
in the court, he proudly replied - "Azad," father's name -
"independence," and residence - "jail." From here he added
"Azad" to his name. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta ji tweeted on
Chandrashekhar Azad Jayanti and said - "Tributes to the great
revolutionary, immortal martyr Chandrashekhar 'Azad' ji who dedicated his life
for mother India. His brilliance, sacrifice and unwavering resolve for the
tricolor is an inspiration for all of us. Our goal is to build the India of his
dreams." This tweet of Rekha Gupta ji is rapidly going viral on social
media and is further strengthening the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of
the youth. Symbol of revolutionary ideas: Azad ji was a prominent member of the
Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA). He himself was the source of
inspiration for many revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev. His
firm resolve was – “I was free, I am free and I will remain free. The British
will never be able to capture me alive.” He did not limit this resolve to
words, but on 27 February 1931, when he was surrounded from all sides in Alfred
Park (today’s Chandrashekhar Azad Park) in Allahabad, he showed the pinnacle of
bravery and took his last bullet in his chest – so that the name ‘Azad’ does not
remain just a nickname, but becomes immortal in history.
Those who live the spirit of Nation First: For the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the idea
of “Nation First” is not just a slogan, but a duty. BJP leader Rekha Gupta ji
said on Chandrashekhar Azad Jayanti, “Azad ji’s brilliance, sacrifice and his
firm resolve for the tricolor inspire us. We are committed to building the
India of his dreams.” His statement reminds us that nationalism is not just a
sentiment, it is a way of life.
Inspiration for the young generation: Today, when the country is moving ahead
rapidly, Chandrashekhar Azad's thoughts and sacrifices inspire the new
generation to self-reliance, courage and national service. Hashtags like

Chandrashekhar Azad is not just a
name in history, but a flame that even today ignites the flame of patriotism in
the heart of every Indian. On Azad ji's birth anniversary, let us all take a
pledge that we will perform our duties and always be ready for the national
interest.
