Buenos Aires, Argentina – Prime Minister Narendra Modi
met the Indian community in Buenos Aires, where he was welcomed with utmost
warmth and respect. Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Modi said,
"Distance can never be a barrier to cultural bonding."He said he was moved by the warmth and affection of
the Indian community. The Prime Minister further said, "Despite being
thousands of kilometres away, the vibrancy of Indian culture is clearly visible
in the Indian fraternity here. It is a matter of pride to see that our
traditions and values are alive across the world."
The event was attended by a large number of Indian
diaspora and local citizens, who showcased Indian culture through dance, music
and traditional costumes. The Prime Minister's visit is considered an important
step towards strengthening bilateral relations between India and Argentina.

initiatives of the Government of India—such as Digital India, Vande Bharat

become a strong voice globally and this has been possible only when Indians
across the world have made the country proud through their hard work and
dedication.
