New Delhi, Sansad Marg (18 August)
Yesterday, a grand national social awareness program titled "Nasha Mukt Bharat – A National Social Awareness Initiative for a Drug Free India" was organized at CONSTITUTION CLUB OF INDIA. People from different sections of society, youth representatives and social workers were present in large numbers on this historic occasion.
The special attraction was the inspirational address of Dr. Shyam Raghunandan. He said – "Drugs not only push a person, but the entire society and the future of the coming generation into darkness. To eradicate it, every youth has to be aware and active."
This program gave the message of a strong drug-free India to the entire country. Dr. Shyam Raghunandan's passionate and inspiring speech in the gathering touched everyone's hearts. He appealed to the youth to stand against drugs and said that this is the real resolution of the country. On this occasion, the youth present raised their voices together and took a pledge of “freedom from addiction” and promised that they themselves will stay away from addiction and spread awareness in the society. This initiative gave new energy and new direction to the Drug Free India Campaign 2025, which further strengthened the movement. He shook the crowd present with his passionate style and inspiring words. He said that “addiction is not just a habit, but it is a fire that slowly destroys life. It not only destroys the talent of the youth, but also hollows out the roots of the family and society.”
Dr. Raghunandan called upon the youth to turn their lives towards a great purpose and keep themselves and their friends away from evils like addiction. He emphasized that if the youth of the country give up addiction and get involved in education, service and nation building, then India can become the most empowered and aware country in the world. His words aroused new energy and hope in the youth present and the entire hall echoed with slogans of “Drug Free India”. This resolution is no longer just a program, but has become a “message of youth revolution for a drug-free India”.
This echo from Delhi is now going to awaken the whole country – This time, attack on drugs!
