A shocking
news has come out from London - well-known Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor's
ex-husband and industrialist Sanjay Kapoor has passed away at the age of 53 due
to a heart attack. This tragic incident happened when he was playing a polo
match in London. It is being told that his health suddenly deteriorated after
he accidentally swallowed a bee during the game. Although immediate medical
help was provided, he could not be saved.
This news has
sent a wave of mourning in both Bollywood and the corporate world. Business
consultant Suhail Seth confirmed to ANI that this sudden death was due to a
heart attack.
Sanjay Kapoor
was born in a reputed business family. He was the son of late Surinder Kapoor
and Rani Kapoor, founders of Sona Group. From childhood, a deep understanding
of business was seen in him and he carried forward the family legacy.
In 2003, he
officially joined Sona Group. He brought the company to international recognition.
He later became the chairman of Sona Comstar, a pioneer in manufacturing auto
parts for electric vehicles. His vision and leadership skills were appreciated
worldwide.
Marriage and
Relationships: Sanjay Kapoor first married fashion designer Nandita Mahtani,
which ended in 2000. In 2003, he married Bollywood star Karisma Kapoor. The
marriage was quite famous and the couple has two children — Samaira and Kiaan.
The couple divorced in 2016, but they continue to share in raising the
children. In 2017, he married Priya Sajdev, who was already mother to a
daughter Safira Chatwal. In 2018, the couple welcomed son Azarius.
