New Indian laws create history: A strong step towards safety and speedy justice for women and children

 

      The three new criminal laws implemented by the Modi government to bring about a historic change in the country's justice system completed one year today. On this occasion, a special dialogue program was organized in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in which the achievements and effects of one year of these new laws were discussed in detail.
The main objective of these three new laws - the Indian Justice Code, the Indian Evidence Act, and the Indian Civil Protection Code - is to increase transparency, timeliness and speed of justice in the country. Especially the safety of women and children, the validity of digital evidence, and the use of modern technologies have made these laws in line with the justice system of the 21st century.
Major achievements of one year: 20% increase in conviction rate.
Speedy hearing and punishment in cases of crimes against women and children.
Digital evidence prominently recognized in the court.
Introduction of video conferencing, e-FIR and tracking system.
Amit Shah said in this program, "These three laws are a milestone in the direction of making India a strong, safe and just nation. These are not just laws, but a resolution for a radical change in the justice system.
