The three new criminal laws implemented by the Modi
government to bring about a historic change in the country's justice system
completed one year today. On this occasion, a special dialogue program was
organized in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Union Home Minister Amit Shah,
in which the achievements and effects of one year of these new laws were
discussed in detail.The main objective of these three new laws - the
Indian Justice Code, the Indian Evidence Act, and the Indian Civil Protection
Code - is to increase transparency, timeliness and speed of justice in the
country. Especially the safety of women and children, the validity of digital
evidence, and the use of modern technologies have made these laws in line with
the justice system of the 21st century.
