Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose: A wreath-laying ceremony was held in Lucknow on Parakram Diwas (Valour Day)

 

Parakram Diwas 2026: Yogi Government Immortalizes Netaji's Memory. January 23rd is celebrated across the country as Parakram Diwas (Day of Valor) to commemorate the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. On this occasion, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in a special program held in Lucknow and paid humble tributes to Netaji by offering flowers to his portrait. The program was held at Netaji Subhash Chowk in Hazratganj, where a large number of workers, officials, and common people were present.
Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose is one of the most inspiring personalities of the Indian freedom movement. He established the Azad Hind Fauj (Indian National Army) and gave a new direction and renewed vigor to the freedom struggle. His immortal slogan, "Give me blood, and I shall give you freedom," still resonates in the hearts of every Indian and inspires the youth to serve the nation. Netaji tirelessly fought for the freedom of Mother India, even seeking cooperation from foreign powers. His life is a living example of courage, loyalty, sacrifice, and patriotism.
At the program, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Netaji's towering personality influences every Indian. Paying homage to Netaji's sacred memory, he said: "On the birth anniversary of the great hero of the freedom movement, 'Netaji' Subhas Chandra Bose, I paid tribute to him by offering flowers to his portrait at a program organized in Lucknow today. As the foremost among India's revolutionaries, 'Netaji' gave a new direction to the freedom struggle. His towering personality influences every Indian. Expressing gratitude for his services to the country, I pay homage to the sacred memory of 'Netaji'." Yogi Ji also emphasized that Netaji's life is a source of inspiration for the youth. He said that by establishing the Azad Hind Fauj, Netaji gave new energy to the freedom struggle and became a symbol of valor.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, January 23rd has been declared as Parakram Diwas, providing an opportunity to remember Netaji's indomitable courage and valor. The Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh celebrates this day on a large scale so that the new generation can connect with Netaji's ideals.
