There are times in life when
the challenges seem so overwhelming that dreams seem shattered. But the true
winner is the one who refuses to give up. One such emotional and heartwarming,
inspiring story is that of Ritu Gupta – a courageous sister from Indirapuram,
Ghaziabad, who is a teacher in a Delhi government school. At just 45 years old,
with 34 years of teaching experience and a polio-affected right leg, she never
stopped. She not only teaches children but also inspires them to live life. Ritu Gupta was born normal, but
polio affected her right leg at a young age. In the eyes of society, this was a
weakness, but for Ritu, it became a challenge – a challenge that made her
stronger. People would say, "Your leg is lame, what can you do?" But
Ritu never took these things to heart. She decided that her hard work and
determination, not her weaknesses, would be visible to the world. Entering the
field of education, she not only completed her studies but also became a
teacher, bringing light into the lives of thousands of children. For 34 years,
she has been teaching Hindi, social studies, and moral values to children in
a Delhi government school. She believes that education is not just about
bookish knowledge, but about building self-confidence and courage. Now, another big joy! Tulsi is going to be honored at the Hi-Fi Global Awards Season 4.
In addition to education, Ritu
Gupta has also won numerous awards in the fields of environmental protection
and fashion shows. She actively participated in environmental awareness
programs, planted trees, and organized plastic-free campaigns. By participating
in fashion shows, she proved that disability does not have to be a barrier to
beauty or confidence. Her awards demonstrate how versatile a woman can
be—teacher, environmental warrior, and model!
Hobbies that add color to
life: Ritu's life is not limited to duty. Her list of hobbies is heartwarming:
Poetry writing – She writes emotional poems that transform pain into strength.
Helping others – providing
free tuition to underprivileged children and encouraging the disabled – is part
of her daily routine.
Reading – Inspiring books and
literature give her new energy.
Music – Listening to music and
humming is the best remedy for her stress.
These hobbies help her live a
balanced life. She says, "When my legs get tired, my heart and mind find
solace in music and poetry."
Ritu Gupta's story teaches us
that polio or any other disability can't stop you if you have passion. She
says, "My leg may be lame, but my vision never stopped. I tell children –
dream, work hard, and never give up." Today, when she stands in the classroom,
children consider her not just a teacher, but a living inspiration. Her smile
hides pain, but her eyes sparkle with victory. Ritu Gupta – an ordinary name,
but an extraordinary story. If you too are struggling with any challenge in
life, remember her story. Because true bravery lies not in the legs, but in the
heart.
