Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the death of Gorakhpur BJP district vice-president Sheshmani Tripathi and offered his condolences

 

          Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker and Gorakhpur district vice-president Sheshmani Tripathi. Yogi Adityanath shared a condolence message on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, praying for peace for the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family. Yogi Adityanath wrote: "The demise of Shri Sheshmani Tripathi ji, District Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Gorakhpur, is extremely saddening. My humble tributes to him. My condolences are with the bereaved family. I pray to Lord Rama to grant the departed soul a place at his feet and give the grieving family the strength to bear this immense sorrow." This message was posted on January 26, 2026, and was liked, reposted, and commented on by thousands of people. This message from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath resonated emotionally with BJP workers in Gorakhpur and Purvanchal. Sheshmani Tripathi was a resident of the Pipiganj area of ​​Gorakhpur and had been actively associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for several decades. He was also associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).  He had a teaching background and worked as a teacher. He started his political career at the booth level and served as a nominated councilor of the Pipiganj Nagar Panchayat twice. Currently, he was the District Vice President of Gorakhpur BJP and a member of the Provincial Council. His father, the late Ramanuj Tripathi, was a Village Development Officer. He is survived by two sons—Abhinav Tripathi, who is a computer operator, and Vikas Tripathi, who is a teacher. He passed away while undergoing treatment at a cancer hospital in Lucknow, and this news proved to be very sad for BJP workers. Sheshmani Tripathi was known for his honesty, dedication, and public service to the party. He was quite popular in the Pipiganj and Campierganj areas. BJP leaders expressed their condolences. Apart from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, several other BJP leaders also issued condolence messages. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak described Sheshmani Tripathi's untimely demise as heartbreaking and paid his respects. Local leaders remembered his life and dedication and paid tribute to him. This incident has become a matter of deep sorrow and shock among party members. Yogi Adityanath is from Gorakhpur, and the BJP unit there is strong under his guidance. In such a situation, his personal message on the demise of a party worker provides strength to the party workers.
